4/23/26 – Playback issues in your STV APP
There is currently an error affecting channel Playback in some users’ apps. It will only affect users using the STANDARD LOGIN in the STV PRO GOLD / BLACK and STV SILVER apps. All other apps will be unaffected.
For any users experiencing this issue, there is an easy fix. You will just need to temporarily switch over to the BACKUP LOGIN portal inside your app. We have included steps below but please contact us if you have any trouble.
In the STV PRO GOLD / BLACK apps:
- Go to the main page of the app and click the SETTINGS tile
- Click SIGN OUT
- Click BACKUP LOGIN and login with your STV login info
In the STV SILVER app:
Logging into the STV SILVER app can be a little more complicated so please contact us if you have an trouble and we will walk you through it.
- From the channel playback screen click the OK / Center button on your remote to bring up the menu tiles
- Click down to SETTINGS in the bottom right
- Click Sources
- Click Setup
- Click Add new source
- Click Backup Login and then click Next
- Login with your STV login info
