The video explains Steps 1 – 7 below. You can follow the video from the start until the 1:50 mark and it will explain how to install an app called Downloader which you can use to install apps that are not in the Google Play store. You can then pick up at Step 8 and follow our remaining steps to install our STV apps.

STEP 1:

Go to Chromecast Settings

STEP 2:

Click System

STEP 3:

Click About

STEP 4:

Click on Android TV OS Build several times repeatedly until you see a “You are now a developer” popup.

• It will be 7 – 10 clicks before you see “You are now a developer”

STEP 5:

Now return to the homescreen and click on the “Search for apps and games” bar

STEP 6:

Search for the Downloader app an install it

STEP 7:

Open the Downloader app

STEP 8:

Click on the http:// line

STEP 9:

Enter dl.unlinked.link in the URL field and click Go

STEP 10:

Wait for the app to download.

• A message will appear that says: “For your security, your TV is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source. You can change this in the Settings.”

STEP 11:

Click Settings

STEP 12:

You will be taken to the Install Unknown Apps page. Click on Downloader so that it shows ON.

STEP 13:

Then click Install to install the Unlinked app

STEP 14:

Once the app finishes installing click Open

• If prompted to, click Allow to allow the Unlinked app access to your devices storage. You may not see this message.

STEP 15:

Click Add a new library and enter STVAPPLIST in the code line

Dismiss any popups that appear while using the app

STEP 16:

Click on the STV PRO (Gold Edition) app once and wait for the app to download

We also offer several other STV apps that provide a different interface for you to watch from, you can install any of them here and they will all work with your service. You may have any/all of them installed on your device at the same time.

STEP 17:

You will receive a Permission required prompt and will be taken back to the same Install Unknown Apps  menu from Step 12

STEP 18:

Click Unlinked so that it shows ON.

STEP 19:

Click Install to Install the STV Pro Gold app

STEP 20:

Once finished installing click Open

STEP 21:

Click Standard Login

STEP 22:

Enter your login info we sent you in your confirmation email and login

STEP 23:

Click Allow to the ‘Allow Access’ prompt and then let the contents load

If you do not click Allow in this step the app contents will not be able to load to your device
